Will my website be search engine friendly?
All of our websites are set up to be easily visible to search engines. We create meta tags that are relevant to your site's content so it will be readily indexed by Google, Yahoo, and other major search engines. When you become a client we will also offer you helpful tips build your site's presence on search engines as you add content to your site.
Do I need to provide anything to the designers before they begin the website design?
When you become a client, one of the first steps is to fill out a brief design questionnaire. This gives our designers a more complete idea of which web design aspects to include in your site, as well as what to avoid. When we give you the web design questionnaire, we will also look to begin collecting assets from you so we can begin work on your website design. These assets include any images/pictures you have, website files or login information to your current site, any written content that you already have, and the completed design questionnaire. Once we have these things, we will have a complete understanding of what we are building for you. From there we can produce a design for your approval.
Who writes the actual content that goes on the website?
Depending on your preference, the written content for your website can be composed by someone at your business or by one of our staff writers. While we do have the capability of composing content about your company, it is usually best to leave that responsibility to you. You know your business better than we do. It is generally better that you have the chance to say the things you want to say about your business rather than leaving it up to us. If you find yourself i n a position where you would prefer to contract us to compose your website's written content, we will be more than happy to add it to your contract.
How long does a website take to be completed?
Depending on the scope and nature of your project, start to finish website construction can range from a few weeks to a few months. Our most common delays come during the asset collection phase. Once you, the client, have provided us with a list of assets (design questionnaire, images, etc.), our websites are turned live in an average of four weeks.
Do you work with social media networks?
Absolutely. One of the fastest growing areas of the web is social media networking sites. Should you choose to do so, we will integrate your social media networking pages into your website. Updating Facebook, Twitter, Myspace, or other such pages can do wonders to turn your website into a powerful online presence. Many business owners either lack the time or the know-how to keep these sites updated, or even figure out how to use them. At Market Grasp Media, we can take the responsibility out of your hands by setting up social media pages for you, and linking them to your site. To simplify the process, we can also tie your social media sites together, providing maximum exposure with minimal time consumption on your end.
